Sanyo ECJ-HC100S Rice Cooker Review

by john on January 5, 2010

The Sanyo ECJ-HC100S is the 10-cup capacity version of the Sanyo ECJ-HC55S. If you’ve read my review of that model, this model is exactly the same as that one except for the size.

For a rice cooker, this model works really well with slow cooking. Like its smaller version, the Sanyo ECJ-HC100S comes with two separate inner pots and inner lids for rice cooking and slow cooking. No more watching over your traditional crock pot because all of it can be programmed and timed as you like.

The Sanyo ECJ-HC100S has received nothing but praises from the users. Of course, who wouldn’t praise a rice cooker where all kinds of rice come out perfect every time, stews can be done with high or low temperature, and it can steam vegetables, boil eggs and make tofu with precision too!

I think the Sanyo ECJ-HC100S is also perfect for those who hate cleaning up, because it is extremely easy to clean. Basically nothing ever sticks to the pot, but if it does, I find one tip from a reviewer quite useful: wait till the starch dries out, then wipe out the pot with your hand. Any remaining rice will fall away and you can wash the pot easily.
